Firestorm

Long time ago, the Great DreamSmith Brinthax Chorit were studying the work of his old friend, Balthus, the elder DreamSmith. During his research he came up on an old unfinished scroll with the basics and ideas for the art of FlameRuin. He saw how focused Balthus had been on getting revenge on the Dreamers who laughed at him, that he missed the greater potential the basics had for a much more powerful dream weapon. For months Brinthax, worked day and night, in his study, to finish an art, that would damage all present dreamers, that weren’t joined with him. He had in the process burned his own face in horrible scars, and killed his pet tiger, but he didn’t stop his research. Finally one day he had created a new art that would work as he had hopped for. Almost insane, by creating such a powerful dream-weapon, he took his apprentice, a young Fatesender named Wolrik on a hunt for mares he could collapse with his new art. He got more than he had hopped for, as he fell in a pit with 5 Horrons. He evoked his new art for the first time in action. Wolrik saw how the Horrons screamed in pain 1 by 1, before they shredded and collapsed his master. That was the last time Wolrik saw Brinthax. In time he learned the new art himself, and thought it to dreamers worthy of it. The Art of Firestorm was added to the major arts of FateSenders
